Visionary Salon: Sound Somatics; Listening with the Body, guided by Shawn Feeney

Explore methods of listening with your entire body. We’ll explore the components of sounds (overtones), attune our listening skills, and play with embodied music. Shawn will include selections of his “Musical Anatomy” artwork, and his unique visual approach to exploring sound. His custom instruments such as the Overtone Crown and Somatic Percussion Station will place you in the center of the musical experience, connected to the instruments. A fun exploration of how sound and music can bring organization and harmony to your internal world. No musical experience necessary!
